The ledge breaks loose under his feet

just in time to keep from falling.

Doc drops the cable in his left hand
when he slips

trying to unsuccessfully start the car.

the socket
that is swinging
above his head
ドクは頭上で揺れている、ソケットに手を伸ばすと、

to grab the cable plug
that is tearing his
pant leg.

Doc slowly
lifts his foot

Marty turns the
key in the ignition,

regains his footing on the ledge.
ようやく彼は窓の棚に自分の足で立つ。
Doc holds the
plug in one hand

and the socket
in the other.
もう片方にソケットを持っている。
Doc tries to
connect them,

but he can’t make
a connection.

The cable is
hooked under the branch of a tree.

Doc grunts in
distress.

machine speeds down the street.

Doc tugs at the
cable,

slowly bringing the plug and socket
together.

He tugs harder
on the cable,

disconnected at the lamppost.
